   This product doesn’t hold water, literally. There is no way to close the drain tube off, and I soaked my bathroom floor before realizing. Also, no instructions included, faulty hose, obviously smaller than advertised, and overall flimsy. Don’t waste your time or money. I’d rate it a negagive 3 if I could. Returning asap.

   I gave this at least a 3 because it wash’s great. It’s very easy to use, super simple. The BIG DOWNSIDE IS IT CANT SPIN DRY WITHOUT THE BASKET FLYING OFFTHE BASE. seriously you have to unplug it and the clothing, if it makes it thru a cycle, won’t be near dry. I did 1 pair of child’s cotton shorts. I could still wring out water from them. If they could fix that issue alone. It would be a total game changer for them. It’s my only complaint about it’s a big one. I did return it and got my credit with portablewasherdryercombo.com. I am thankful for their return policy.

   This compact washing machine is a lifesaver! I can do laundry in my own home now without having to lug my clothes to a laundromat. It’s easy to use and surprisingly quiet. Definitely worth the investment!

   Let me start with: if you’re using this for camping, hotels, etc. it would mostly be perfect for that! Using it in place of a washer and dryer in an apartment without the hook-ups, is iffy and I explain why; The only reason I’m not putting 3 stars is because of two cons in my opinion. 1. it’s still a lot of manual labor to use. -You have to fill it with water, (if you don’t have an outlet near where you are draining and no detachable sprayer like in my apartment, it takes awhile to fill unless you have a bucket) and then you have to let it drain after it goes through its 5 or 10 minute agitating cycle, and then fill it again, and again to rinse out the soap. Either that, or rinse it in the sink to put back in for the dehydrating cycle. 2. The manual that comes with the machine is completely useless. It took me a minute to figure out how to use the drain. You have to put the hose upward with the hook on the keeper, to not allow the water to drain. I feel like if there was a shut off valve or an automatic shut off like in a real washer, it would be a lot easier to use. Overall, I feel like it washed pretty good. (But again, it’s up to however many times you re-fill it with fresh water) -It saves my hands from having to be in the detergent but I do feel like I have to manually rinse since refilling over and over takes a lot of time. I also wish the dehydrating cycle was longer or had a locking mechanism with the basket so it spun better. It gets off balance extremely easily and just falls right off and makes a lot of racket. (the basket sits on the spinner similar to a microwave plate in a microwave.) The machine is not as loud as I thought it would be after watching the review videos. The videos just pick up the sound a lot more than what it sounds like in reality. My routine with the washer: -1.5 toddler outfits at a time fits in the spin basket but about 3 toddler outfits would fit in the washer. -I add water and detergent, turn on for 5 minutes, drain the water, put the clothes in the basket under running water and fill the machine again and then put them back in for 5 minutes. -Drain the water again, make sure there’s no soap and then place as evenly as possible in the basket and I run 2-3 dehydrating cycles. I didn’t use a whole lot of detergent and I feel like this did the job for a lightly worn pair of toddler clothes. A soiled pair however, I’d probably do 10 minutes initially and then two 5 minute cycles with fresh water each time. It’s definitely going to be worth it but I wish I invested in a 18+L machine rather than the 16L since I am using this in my apartment that does not have washer/dryer hookups. I can comfortably do my daughter’s clothes, little by little throughout the week and a shirt or two + underwear and that will save me from multiple laundry trips.
