I got this to use under my dryer…my washer is a top-loader, and elevating it would be positively painful, lol. But my dryer is a front-loader, and advancing into my 50’s I’m wanting to stoop over and stick my head in the dryer less and less…it’s just too far to bend over.
The extra foot plus this provides makes getting clothes in and out of my dryer SO much easier. The only thing I wish was that the drawer was a bit bigger, and the construction is a bit involved. But it does provide at least SOME extra space, which is valuable and useful. Mostly, though, I’m just glad I don’t have to bend over so far anymore.

The drawer is only half the height of the stand, 7” out of 14” and about 3/4 of the width and depth. That means the drawer is only 28% of the space the pedestal takes up. Compare to manufacturer branded pedestals where the drawer is nearly 100% of the pedestal. Also note that it has no sides, which is unsightly. ASSEMBLY REQUIRED! And it takes about 30 minutes. The reason we bought this one is that our machine is 28” wide and the manufacturers only make 27” pedestals. If I had to do it over again, I’d get one without a drawer and use a storage container with wheels. On the bright side, it is very sturdy and easily holds our 300lb all-in-one washer, even on high spin mode. BTW, I bought mine from Wmt for slightly less.

I ordered the black washer/dryer stand. This was pretty easy to put together. The stand has cushion padding to keep machine vibration and noise levels down. Assembled stand is nice and sturdy and the drawer is a great feature. Any extra storage is much appreciated but it does not utilize all the space. It took us two people to put machine in place.

Ordered two of these for our Maytag washer and dryer and am very disappointed in the quality. Thought I’d save a little money by purchasing off brand pedestals, what a mistake. If the boxes hadn’t been so poorly damaged and I could have repackaged it I would have requested a return however I proceeded to assembly and then really realized I made a big mistake, quality of screws was the first indication and it got worse from there, they are soft and the head strips if you use anything but gentle force to tighten. Then trying to square the unit so that the drawer opens and closes is another challenge, poor design allows too much slop in the assembly and had to disassemble and reassemble several times making adjustments until the drawer would open and close. It still doesn’t open and close very easily. Drawer also is undersized leaving a 3/4 inch gap at the bottom of the drawer. Bottom line is don’t buy these, spend the extra money and buy a unit that is already assembled and square!

Annoying to assemble. Vibrate during spin cycle on washer. Drawers are great for storage. Assists so you don’t have to bend down to empty the front loader washer and dryer. Really annoying to assemble. Take your time and relax. Pad the area you are working on so you do not scratch the pieces.

Drawers do not open and close properly after assembly. After making multiple adjustments, I decided it is not worth trying to get the drawers to work. They seem sturdy, but time will tell if they shake apart due to the tiny screws that are holding it together.
