I have been wanting a portable washer for my kitchen towels. I don’t like running an entire wash for a few rags it’s such a waste of water and energy so I was super excited when this one popped up, I had to get it.
First of all I want to express how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to get this item but it’s not all I thought it would be.
For starters, the instructions are not useful at all. A video explaining how to use it would have been great. The touch screen is difficult to use, I just start pressing random areas because I haven’t figured out how to use it properly. I eventually get the setting I’m looking for and I let it do it’s thing.
The basket attachments are useless, I’m not sure what they’re supposed to do. The instructions don’t help explain them.
The dehydration cycle, which I assume is spin dry, doesn’t do much. You’ll get better results and save energy by wringing the items yourself.
There is something I absolutely love about this machine and that’s the fact that I can fill it with piping hot water from my sink and my rags will get washed. I can’t appreciate this enough. My rags have grease and require really hot water, not even my washer can put out water as hot as this. The machine does a decent job at swishing the rags around. I did notice the larger kitchen towels tangle up with the smaller ones so I will have to wash the larger towels separately. I emptied the dirty water and ran it again with clean water and after it drained again, I decided to wring out the rags with my hands and put them in the dryer. The rags were cleaned very well.
The machine is small enough to fit under my sink. It’s not very sturdy material but it has been holding up.
I don’t recommend this if you’re looking for a machine thats easy to use and will spin dry your items. I recommend it if you’re just looking to get small items washed but you need to be willing to put a little effort into the process.
I decided not to hook it up to any water source, it’s going to be used in my kitchen next to my sink so filling it up and draining is not an issue
I will continue to use it but if I had to make a decision to buy it, I probably wouldn’t make the investment. I would look for a different machine.
