   I have to say that this has been a blessing. It’s not labeled energy efficient, but it does have an energy cycle. So, it stops on its own once the clothes are dried. I was hesitant, but it’s been an excellent buy. FYI I add about ten cotton or polyester to dry and it takes about 20-30 min on high heat. Also, dries 2 pair of men jeans. Towels .. I add 3. Perfect size for 1-2 people.

   The dryer is a good size and works as I tested but there is one severe flaw, the door is very poor and to top this a plastic hinge is used. If anything was to go wrong first it will be the very door. I don’t see a long life for this dryer mostly because of “the door”. Hopefully the manufacturer may improve this. The price was fair enough and sending it back would be troubles. If you get this dryer check that there is a steel hinge.

   I needed a dryer for an RV, and didn’t want to fit a full sized dryer. This dryer is the perfect size for me– not too small and not too large. It’s bigger than I was expecting however, which is actually a plus. It arrived packaged well in a giant box, with no major scuffs. It’s quiet, heats up quickly, and has a large capacity. Because it’s 120v, it’s limited by how how it can get, and drying times are longer compared to a 240v unit. That said, I can dry a full load in about 30-45 minutes. The dryer vent pipe is long and easy to use, but feels flimsy, so I wouldn’t move it much. I will likely replace with a metal one. The mounting hardware are a very nice plus, because I will be mounting mine. On setting 3 of 4, the default setting, it draws about 1400-1600W continuously, though on start up it ramps up to about 1900W over the course of 30 seconds, before backing down. I was a little concerned seeing the wattage climb since I have a 2000W inverter, but it only stayed above 1500w for about 10 seconds. Still something to consider if you have power constraints. In terms of portability… well, it’s 50lbs. It does have handles, and technically can be moved, but I wouldn’t move it frequently. Overall this is a solid dryer that’s easy to use, has a large capacity compared to other portable dryers, and is very quiet.

   The idea of a small, portable, electric dyer for a 110 plug-in is awesome, so we checked out the Euhomy Portable Dryer. First off, we got lucky and packing was excellent and secure. Better than some appliances. It even comes with brackets for securing against a wall if you need it. The portability is obvious against a typical, full-size dryer, but unless you have casters or a furniture dolly under it, it’s just a little bigger than most want to cart around. However, it does have handle holds on each side and can be shuffled around with some amount of ease. We used a 24×16 furniture dolly and it fit perfectly. We could swing it out the living room to a window for venting with no issue. The instructions were most useful for translating the dryer modes and estimating the drying times, though we also plumbed them to find the lint catch. Lint catch is actually the inside back of the unit, which can be popped off. It is not near the door as we’re usually accustomed (that’s the air intake filter). We did a few loads, as I couldn’t estimate what 9 lbs of clothes really translated to. One was a king twin sheet set dried on STRONG. Obv, those did great but did take whole run time. Another was 2 bath sheets (larger than standard towels) and a hand towel dried on NORMAL. They finished their run time without another need to tumble. We did a load of unmentionables on ECO and those did fine as well (better than my full size Samsung on Eco, anyways), though again, we kept that load fairly small since the goal wasn’t to stress this out. I will note, we did not vent this, as we experimented in a 1600+SF space and it’s cold here, so the warmth was welcome. This did not exude a damp warmth. However, obv won’t recommend this and esp. not for those using in actual small spaces. Use the nice venting they provide. We just wanted to see if it would immediately cause wet smells. (Add’l end note: We are using this less for space saving and more for portability – it’s kept in a garage to help dry small wet things from outside, like hats and gloves, and keeping it on casters keeps it up front and visible to teenagers who are coming in from the cold and want to tromp wet things into the house.) I probably won’t have much cause to get another portable dryer, but I really liked my experience with this one.

   Awesome machine, but keep in mind it pulls some amps and if you run other things on the same circuit it like a microwave, hair dryer or ??? It will pop the home fuse. Clean lint after EVERY use.

    Superstorm Sandy back in 20212 destroyed my washing machine and gas dryer. The name brand replacement for the dryer stopped drying a month after the warrantee expired. Then another flood froze the motor, so it was entirely useless, so I would just hang up the wash to dry. Sometimes that took more than a day for things like flannel shirts. When I saw the Euhomy I grabbed it. I am a single person, and don’t have many loads of wash. I attached a picture of the first load I did. Other items I just hung up to dry. The Euhomy is well built and looks nice. It was very easy to install, which includes attaching the vent pipe elbow connector. The vent tube is kind of thin, but presumably adequate for this unit. In any event, I used the already installed vent equipment. It also comes with mounting hardware if you want to attach it to the wall. I have it on a concrete floor, and the adjustable pads work well. It was fairly quiet running. There are four drying modes and they are indicated by the color of the bar on the display. First is “strong drying.” This full power heat with a 2.5 hour running time. Second is “intelligent drying.” This is the one I used. It is full power heating, and shuts down when the unit detects the items are dry. Third is “ECO drying.” This just blows unheated air until the unit detects low humidity. I tried this, but after one hour the clothes were still damp so I decided this would take too long, and I switched to “intelligent drying.” Fourth is “normal drying.” This leaves some moisture for ironing. The instructions indicate that this will take at least 2 hours, and is recommended for small clothing or a small amount of clothing. Bottom line: I am very, very pleased with this item. It dried my clothing in a reasonable amount of time. I no longer have to worry that clothing won’t be dry in time for me to wear it. If you’re married with four kids I would think you need a full size dryer. But for me, a single person, this is perfect. I am very glad I have it.
