I can’t believe how well this cleans clothes! Unlike a regular plunger, it has openings inside the outer part, that simulates agitating the water. It’s a huge help with laundry in-between going to the Laundromat, and helps save money. It also cleans very well.

I haven’t used this device yet. I bought it in case of power outages so have not had to use it yet. It is well made and feels sturdy and feel a lot happier knowing that I have a way of washing my smalls and other clothes if my washing machine stops working for whatever reason. This removes the need for scrubbing by hand which is time consuming and tiring. It does it for you which is what I wanted.

I needed this to launder my throw rugs, as I’ve found that it can be a bad idea to put them in the washing machine. I had a machine that was ruined because the nonslip rug backing shredded into the washing machine (the repair man showed me the damage). I didn’t want to go find a commercial washing machine in a laundromat just to wash my rugs.
Out on the deck, I fill a rubbermaid tub with soapy water, and push this mobile washer up and down like a plunger for 10 minutes or so; halfway through, I turn the rug over. It’s not hard on my back: I’m only 5’4″ so I don’t have to bend over. Then I dump the soapy water out and refill the tub with clean water and rinse by repeating the plunging. Finally, I hang the wet rug to drip dry on the deck. I suppose if the weather is cold, I can do the washing in the shower.
I don’t agree that the handle feels fragile, but if it breaks, I’ll replace it with a wooden handle from the hardware store. Problem solved.

I like the concept and am glad I was introduced to it but more so as an inspiration to either buy a better version or make my own.
It’s flimsy and feels like I’ll break it if I push too hard, maybe that’s just me in my relative strength and sense of urgency in getting it done but I’d prefer something sturdier.
Maybe do more research and look for something without so many separate pieces and or thin tubing and poor plastic threading before you buy this.
It might work for a lot of people, but for me it feels flimsy.

I bought this for an emergency situation and was amazed at how well it worked to get my laundry clean. It did take some physical effort and I had to wring the water out, but still very effective. It comes apart easily in stores compactly in its own tote bag. I will be glad to have it on hand for future emergencies or any time I need to hand wash more than a few items.

Doesn’t even go together. When trying to insert the metal pole into the plastic “screw on” end piece, it just strips the plastic. So it’s completely unusable.

I love this thing even though it seemed and is a little pricey for such a simple device. It’s light weight, well built, durable if you’re gentle, and very effective getting clothes clean with hardly any effort. Just take your time. Let the clothes sit in the soapy water, gently plunge a few times, wait, come back, plunge a few more times, etc. There should be plenty of water to move the plunger up and down easily so the clothes move around and hardly any muscle is required. Unlike a washing machine, I like how much control I have. I find heavily soiled clothes come out cleaner because I decide when I’m done cleaning,, not a machine.
When I first got it I used a wooden handle and the base kept loosening itself. However when I switched to the handle that came with the device, it has never loosened. I’ve been using this for about 6 months with no issues. It still works like it did when it was new.

I was skeptical. I didn’t see what all the fuss could possibly be about with these. Now I know. Our water lines broke in the Texas ice storm of February 2021. No plumbing supplies. Plumbers are booked. We didn’t have power forever. Well I was hand washing clothes (washaterias were either all closed or were shut down due to damages, broken pipes, lack of water, or no electric) so I’m literally hand washing what I can because I cannot stand for clothes to sit dirty. I can go maybe one day before I just have to wash the dirty clothes. I can’t stand it. I looked at the hand crank washers. And the teeny washers. But I wanted something simple I could use for now, could use maybe if we go camping, or for something incredibly nasty that I don’t want to put in my washing machine. I found this and decided I would give it a try. I like that you can disassemble it (with ease) and store it in a bag. It agitates the clothes with little force. I’m not bending over the sink, the tub, or the washtub I got. It’s easy! I can wash a small load in no time, without even breaking a sweat. I really am shocked at how easy it was. It’s so simple I truly thought it wouldn’t Work. I am so glad I got this. It made it so much easier. It was delivered in 2 days, and is just super really convenient to have. One of my weirdest yet best purchases. Love it.
