   Most of the corners were rounded and some of the side rails were dented in. I ordered the platforms a few weeks before I needed them but shipping got delayed. I tried cancelling which was allowed on one platform but denied on the other which magically shipped immidiately after I tried cancelling. Then I tried re-ordering the cancelled platform and they were out of stock. After all was said and done, I was able to re-order a few days later and received the last platform the day my new washer arrived. Imagine my surprize to see the damage. I was out of time and had to just make them work but they are junk. Not as sturdy as you would expect and look terrible with all of the dents. Both packages were the same. This does not seem to be a one off issue.

   This is heavy and sturdy. If you have a front load washer and dryer, this is nice to avoid having to squat so low to do laundry. There’s no drawer for storage but it is open so you can potentially use that as a shelf and keep small items underneath. You would need to buy two of these or your appliances won’t be at the same level. Also, you wouldn’t want to use this for top loading machines unless you are very tall.

   I had a stroke a year ago an needed to elevate my front loading washer and dryer, and this did the trick. My son put together (it took about an hour). They are sturdy and I love the height. I’m 5’9 and they make loading and unloading easy. Storage space good.

   We recently had to buy a new washing machine and we couldn’t afford to get the add-on base when we did, and we needed something to get it to the same height as the dryer.

   This kit is made of steel and was simple to put together, though it did take some time. The one thing I would change is that they needed some sort of adhesive for the feet that go on the uprights, as I had issues getting them to stay on when I was trying to get into position to put the washer on it. I ended up buying some silicone adhesive in the end, but they really should have designed them better or else included adhesive.

   Needed something to give my workbench extra height, and this stand does the trick. It’s really solid, but it did take me a while to assemble. The instructions were clear enough, it’s just a time-consuming build. But overall, happy with the end result.

   So have your own tools handy.
   Definitely recommend this stand, as it’s well made and very strong.
