I ordered this on a whim, thinking it might be good for camping and travel. On the one hand, it is exactly that type of activity that this is useful for. On the other, you are just as good to hand wash an item in the sink or a stream. While this does have an inner basket that spins with your items inside (and soap), that’s about all that it does. I don’t see how you could get anything cleaner with this than you can just washing by hand. You can potentially “spin” the water out of your items by draining the water out and then activating the “wash” cycle again, however there’s no rinse. So you would be left needing to do one cycle with soap to get anything clean, then at least one if not more cycles with just water to get the soap out. Then another with no water to “spin” the clothing items, or you can just squeeze stuff to get the water out. If you’re going to do all of that, better to just use some soap and water in a dish and hand wash your stuff. It will be quicker, I promise you, and no outlet needed.
This, in my opinion, winds up being a gimmicky item of little use. I definitely wouldn’t purchase it again.

This little machine is wonderful. Reminder: it is not a “washing machine”… I had wash certain articles of clothing, some then go in the real washing machine, others rinsed and hung to dry. This machine works great for both. Some comments say it doesn’t have a rinse cycle. You can easily do that. After a cycle runs, drain water, put drain plug back in, fill with water. Start a cycle, pull the plug at the same time you are filling with water, it is basically a rinse cycle. The spin cycle a little useless, but does spin in basket. I was concerned it would be loud, but it is not. Caution: I found a different unit from a China seller/shipper. It arrived and didn’t work, the return was a lot of work, however portablewasherdryercombo.com made correct. So summary: great little washer and only order machine when seller is portablewasherdryercombo.com.
