The assembly is a little tricky. The legs do not easily attach. I had to just keep finagling them to get them securely installed. Also, the assembly instructions for the bottom drying rack are misleading. I tried to follow the instructions, however the small rubber seal poses a challenge. I found it easier to remove the seal and install it first after screwing in the first pipe, then I was able to install the bottom rack over the seal. After that it assembled fairly well.

It has a dial timer . There is no ability to change the intensity of heat -it is a 900 watt heating device and best if use is supervised ( i.e. not left around small children, not used unattended or for very delicate silks)

It takes a while for heavier items like jeans to dry but it does the job! I was so surprised when I first turned this dryer on because the air was HOT! I live in an apartment and I refuse to use the community washer and dryer (I pay enough to have an indoor one but whatever) and this dryer is perfect for any apartment. It doesn’t even take up that much space! It is worth every penny.
